Editorial correspondence

The reading room keeps its door open to notes about the record itself: a citation we quoted loosely, a regulatory reference that has aged out, or a peer-reviewed study on KPV or Thymulin that belongs on the references page and isn't there yet. Corrections that sharpen the accuracy of these summaries are the most welcome mail we get, and every one is read with care.

The notes we can act on fastest name three things: which page, the exact passage that needs fixing, and the source behind the fix — a DOI or PubMed ID wherever you have one. With those, a proposed change can be checked against the literature quickly.

What the room can't answer

So no note goes ignored for the wrong reason, a few requests sit outside what this room can take on. Because it reads and reports the literature rather than practicing medicine or selling anything, the desk can't:

• Weigh in on, endorse, or advise human use of any peptide covered here.
• Name a dose, schedule, or route for any individual.
• Diagnose anything, or judge whether a given finding applies to a given person.
• Sell, source, suggest, or help track down a compound from any supplier.
• Settle questions from athletes under anti-doping rules, since the sport status of these compounds isn't firmly established.

Anyone after medical guidance should bring it to a licensed clinician in their own jurisdiction. Replies aren't guaranteed and can lag; the mailbox is checked now and then.
